Face Masks Update

From Thursday, January 27th 2022, it is no longer mandatory to wear face coverings in many public spaces.

However, face coverings must still be worn in health and care settings to help keep you and others safe and to comply with infection prevention and control (IPC)and adult social care guidance.

This includes hospitals and primary or community care settings, such as GP practices. Face coverings must also continue to be worn by everyone accessing or visiting care homes.

Patients that are exempt from wearing a face mask will be advised as to where the clinician will hold the consultation. This may be in the car park, or your vehicle, or in an area outside of the building.
